This Privacy Policy explains how RivalMoves ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit rivalmoves.com and join our waitlist. We keep this short and plain on purpose.

1. Who we are

RivalMoves is a product in development that helps local business owners monitor their competitors. This site is currently a waitlist page. You can reach us anytime at mason.choi@rivalmoves.com.

2. What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — so we can update you as we build and let you know when we launch.
• Your business type — the option you select (or type) in the "What's your business?" field, so we know which kinds of businesses to build for first.

We also automatically collect basic usage data through analytics and advertising tools (described below), such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and the device and browser you use.

3. Tools and third parties we use

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run this site:

• Supabase — stores your waitlist email and business type securely. (Supabase Privacy Policy)
• Vercel — hosts this website. (Vercel Privacy Policy)
• Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how people use the site. This uses cookies. (Google Privacy Policy)
• Meta Pixel — measures how our ads perform so we can show them to the right people. This uses cookies. (Meta Privacy Policy)

4. How we use your information

• To send you updates about RivalMoves and notify you when we launch.
• To understand which types of businesses are most interested.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising.

We do not sell your personal information, and we will not spam you. You can ask us to remove you at any time.

5. Cookies

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel place cookies on your device to recognize return visits and measure performance. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so won't stop you from joining the waitlist.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and California's CCPA), you have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time.
• Opt out of the "sale" or sharing of your data (we don't sell it).

To exercise any of these, just email mason.choi@rivalmoves.com and we'll take care of it.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your waitlist information until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the purposes above.

8. Children

RivalMoves is meant for business owners. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

As we build RivalMoves into a full product, we'll update this policy and change the "Last updated" date above.
